HIGHLIGHTS FROM 2019 SIGNING DAYS
Twenty-eight high school seniors signed with union contractors during this year’s Signing Days and will begin their apprenticeships after graduation.
Seven students in the Duluth area signed with union contractors. Participating schools were South Shore High, Northwestern High, Cromwell/Wright High, Wrenshall High and Cloquet High. Contractors who signed new apprentices were CMC Construction, Inc., J.R. Jensen Construction, Kraus-Anderson Construction, Ray Riihiluoma Construction, McGough Construction and Northland Constructors.
Three students in the Rochester, MN, area signed to become union carpenters. Students were from Wabasha-Kellogg High School and Stewartville High School and signed with Benike Construction, Kraus-Anderson Construction and Mulcahy Nickolaus LLC.

A student at Apollo High School signed with Donlar Construction at one of our 2019 Apprenticeship Signing Days.
A high school senior signed to become a union carpenter with Falewitch Construction Services at an Apprenticeship Signing Day held at our Omaha Training Center.
Four seniors in the Fargo area will begin their careers in the Union after graduation. Three students signed to become carpenters and one student signed to become a millwright. Students from West Fargo High School, Fargo South High School and Grafton High School signed with Olympic Companies, Inc., RTL Construction, Inc., McGough and NorMinn Industrial, LLC.
Two high school seniors signed with Pheifer Brothers. Students were from Waupaca High School and Appleton West High School.

Eau Claire, WI
Four high school seniors from the Eau Claire, WI, area signed to become union carpenters. Students were from Eau Claire North High School, Flambeau High School and Neillsville High School. The new members from Local 1074 signed with Kraemer North America and Market & Johnson, Inc.
A high school senior at Whitnell High School signed with Doral Corporation to become a union millwright apprentice. He will be a member of Millwright Local 2337 in Pewaukee, WI.
Two students signed with Riley Construction in Kenosha, WI. Students were from Tremper High and Union Grove High School.
A student in the Madison, WI, area signed with Ideal Builders Inc. He began working for the contractor several months prior through Operation Fresh Start, a nonprofit that provides employment and training services for youth and young adults in Dane County.
Tri-North Builders, Inc., signed a new apprentice from Waukesha West High School.
