Steel Stud & Drywall Foreman Position Description: We are seeking a reliable foreman with experience managing large crews in commercial construction, to lead metal framing and drywall projects.

Steel Stud & Drywall Foreman Principal Responsibilities:

- Oversee a project from pre-construction to job completion
- Communicate regularly with all Project Managers/Coordinators and General Contractors
- Become familiar with all safety regulations and maintain those safety requirements among all crew members
- Must be able to mentor and train all crew members on a job so they are appropriately educated on how to complete tasks
- Stay on top of timelines, costs, and manpower to guarantee a successful job completion
- Attend meetings that involve discussions on safety, toolbox talks, timelines, and potential scheduling issues
- Follow all company and customer policies, procedures and safety requirements
- Complete daily reports to provide updates on the project
- Perform all job aspects in a professional manner with respectable appearance, behavior and language
- Ensure that a job is staffed appropriately
- Inspect the project before leaving to make sure all tasks were completed to the customers’ satisfaction and all work areas have been cleaned properly
- Must be willing to travel
- Must be flexible with hours and shifts
- Take pride in a job well done
- Other duties as assigned

Other Duties As Assigned: Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.

Steel Stud & Drywall Foreman Experience/Skills Required:

- 2 years of experience preferred, as a Foreman
- Experience with hanging drywall and steel stud framing
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) including ability to walk and stand for long periods of time, while performing physical labor that is essential to completing the project
- Must possess the skills to multi-task, work in a team setting, and meet deadlines
- Ability to read and understand blueprints is required
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Valid state driver’s license is required
- Ability to drive company vehicles
