A journey-level worker has completed a 4-year apprenticeship or has job experience that makes them knowledgeable and skilled in their trade. They are professionals who must be physically able to complete contractor-assigned tasks with minimal supervision or assistance. Journey-level tradespeople are able to decipher blueprints and make decisions about the best way to complete a task. They have the capability to spot errors before they are made, and to fix mistakes if needed.
