Carpenter Endorsed Candidates for MN Senate and House

The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters is pleased to announce its support of seventy eight candidates for the Minnesota House of Representatives.

“We are pleased to announce our slate of Senate and House candidates running across the state of Minnesota,” said Adam Duininck, Director of Government Affairs for the Carpenters. “Our members are problem solvers and they expect legislators to focus on creating jobs and maintaining high standards for skilled professionals who work in the construction industry. Our members believe that our elected leaders can and must pass a bonding bill. Our current and future lawmakers must put policies in place that will create middle class jobs and a thriving economy for all working people. Our issues should transcend political parties and we are proud to support candidates from both parties.”

The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters advocates for jobs on behalf of our members, infrastructure funding, prevailing wage, strong wage and hour enforcement, technical training and job programs that complement our labor-management funded training programs, and education curriculum that promotes career pathways in the construction industry. As a union, we are dedicated to protecting and elevating the economic and social condition of all carpenters.

The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters represents 12,000 members in Minnesota and 26,000 Carpenters across the states of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Nebraska.
