About NCSRCC
The North Central States Regional Council of Carpenters (NCSRCC) represents nearly 27,000 skilled union members and their families across Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. We are proudly chartered by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (UBC) - one of North America's oldest and most respected labor unions that is committed to raising industry standards, protecting workers' rights, and strengthening both our communities and our industry since 1881.
Our union is built on values that matter:
- Safe job sites
- Fair wages
- Family-supporting benefits
- Top-tier training and education
- Fighting tax fraud and unfair labor practices
- Voicing Carpenter Economics issues
Whether you are just starting your career, currently working in the trades, or looking for a fresh start, the Carpenters Union offers a clear and rewarding way forward. In partnership with the Carpenters Training Institute (CTI), we offer a debt-free apprenticeship program where members earn a living wage and benefits from day one. Our program combines hands-on training and real-world experience to lay the foundation for a lifelong, high-demand career in the skilled trades.
We represent skilled union professionals in Carpentry, Interior Systems, Industrial, Millwrighting, and Pile Driving. Our members are the backbone of the construction industry - highly trained, dedicated, and united by a shared pride in our craft and the communities we help build. Together with our signatory contractors, we deliver the safest, most productive, and best-trained workforce in the industry.
