Requirements
We are looking for a Structural Concrete Forman to work with our Structural Concrete Division. Our SCF will use a hands-on approach working in the field alongside their Crew’s performing a number of structural concrete jobs such as, Strip Footings, Structural Pads, Piers, Columns, and Walls.
Additional Information
SCF job duties include but are not limited to the following.
-Manage 3-8 crew members on a daily basis
-Manage and make sure crew is operating safely and are following OSHA, General Contractors, and TR’s Safety regulations.
-Coordinate and manage the day-to-day activities of multiple Structural Concrete projects.
-While managing TR’s field crew’s, work with TR’s concrete Trade Superintendent to establish an efficient day to day schedule.
-Work with Superintendent to make sure the crews have all tools, equipment and materials on site to complete the tasks at hand.
-Work with TR’s Yard Forman to establish proper timely, efficient deliveries to multiple job sites.
-Manage and work directly with GC’s superintendent to make sure they are satisfied with day-to-day progress on job sites.
-Understand multiple project drawings and are comfortable with the task at hand.
-Make sure field staff is performing their work at the highest quality.
-Know how to use an iPad and Smart phone. TR uses electronic plans for all jobs including, plan reading, production reports, T and M sheets, timecards, daily logs, RFI’s, etc.
- Understand how to use ProCore for all aspects of the job.
-Work closely with Supervisor, General Superintendent, and PM/estimator on bidding productions.
Other job duties of the SCF will include, Pre construction site visits to make sure jobs are ready for crews to start. Making sure all specialty materials are ordered in a timely fashion. Making sure all TR’s equipment is well maintained and properly taken care of.
