Bystander Training
Cultural aspects within the construction industry warrant change to support shifts towards inclusive, safe and respectful workplaces.
In the 4-hour Be More Than A Bystander training, participants in trade-related organizations will gain a new perspective and understanding of workplace bullying, harassment and violence that often forces women out of the skilled trades. In addition, participants will be equipped with safe intervention tools and strategies to speak up against harmful work environments and better support those affected.
Objectives
- Understand the effects of gender-based bullying, harassment and violence in the workplace
- Learn effective tools and strategies to be an ally
- Build skills through scenarios and group discussion
