Attend Your Precinct Caucuses February 1, 2022
Precinct caucuses are local gatherings for the political parties. It is an opportunity to meet your neighbors, discuss political issues of interest to you, pass resolutions for the party platform, and nominate and support area candidates for local office. If you are looking to attend this year’s precinct caucuses on February 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., there is some information you will need to know. No matter what political party you support, we urge you to show up and support a message about jobs and Carpenter Economics!
The Minnesota DFL party has instituted some new changes to protect the health of participants and their communities. Local organizing units are using a contactless system that requires filling out a Caucus Non-Attendee Form. Participants of a contactless caucus will also have the option to submit resolutions electronically. To obtain forms and find out if your precinct caucus will be held in-person or remotely, visit https://dfl.org/caucus/. You can find more information on all caucuses here: https://dfl.org/caucuses-conventions/precinct-caucus/.
The MN GOP will be meeting in person around the state. If you are interested in caucusing with the Republican Party of Minnesota, you can find all of your caucus documents and your precinct caucus location by visiting https://www.mngop.com/.
